Bryce and Zion Canyons
November 1-6, 2016
Scenic Light photography offers many varied and extensive workshops. This year we are very excited to announce our 5th year focused in Bryce and Zion canyons of southern Utah.. We have been shooting this area for many years and include many of the most dynamic locations. Including the HooDoos of Bryce canyon, The Watchman in Zion, the Virgin River Narrows and many other dynamic locations. Both locations should be in full fall color and are very beautiful this time of year.
The opportunities for great images are endless.
Also included are 5 nights lodging, critique sessions, as well as lectures. Our lectures include Lightroom 5, Photoshop CC, advanced layer blending , and HDR applications.
Our workshops focus around improving your composition skills and getting you to that next level of creative photography. Bob prides himself in that most workshops have up to 90% repeat participants.
The event starts on Tuesday evening with an informal get together and introductions . Early Wed we travel to Bryce canyon for the dynamic sunrise light. Lunch will be provided for you. That evening we again shoot in Bryce highlighting on great fall colors.
On Thursday we travel to Zion Park and shoot the evening light at the Watchman.
Friday and Saturdays are focused on the many locations that will proved you opportunities for great image taking.
5 nights lodging is included as well as the lunch and a farewell dinner in Zion on Saturday. The first 2 days are at Ruby's Inn in Bryce canyon, followed by 3 nights in Zion at the Zion Best western inn.
Many of our photographers are return students that not only enjoy
the great locations but learn from Bob each time they attend. His method of teaching
is hands on, in the field. The total cost is $1450
per person. A $650 deposit will hold your seat. The balance is due 60 days prior to the workshop. See our cancellation
policy for details.
