Winter in Yosemite

Feb. 20-22, 2009

This will be our 14th annual Yosemite In Winter workshop. It is truly an exiting event to work in the field with Bob in a dynamic location. The session promise to be very quiet in the valley, and is based upon the dates of sunset on Horsetails Falls.

The class are limited to only 10 students to insure the most valuable time spent learning from Bob directly in the field.

We travel to the beautiful Yosemite Valley each day with morning , afternoon and evening shooting. During this workhop we will also focus on the 'Last Light on Horsetail Falls'. Viewed by many as a highlight of winter in Yosemite.

If you've ever joined us before you know the locations are endless and often we are blessed with fresh snowfall. The group is encouraged to stay at either the Yosemite Lodge in the Park or at the Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal just outside the park entrance where we have obtained a group rate for all attending the workshop. Either location is close to all our activities.

Lunch is sponsored by Scenic Light one day with an optional dinner at the Yosemite Lodge one evening.

During all shoots Bob works beside the students to give maximum attention to questions as well as theory of compositions and use of filters and film.

Following the field portion of the workshop we offer a critique via email to review the images from the workshop. This is a very positive and learning exchange and we encourage all to participate.

The total for the entire workshop in the field, including lunch both days and the critiques sessions is $325.00. A deposit of $150 will hold your seat in the class. The balance is due 30 days prior to the workshop date. Please either e-mail us or call at (916) 223-5211 for further details and to register.

This is a great workshop and one you won't want to miss!
