Additional Workshops

May16-20 , 2012

Here at Scenic Light photography we offer many varied and extensive workshops. This year we offer Arches and Canyonlands in the spring to capture the red rock country's dynamic landscape as well as the opportunity to shoot desert flowering.

Based in Moab, Utah we begin our 5th year class on Wednesday May 16,2012. This is an inclusive workshop that includes all of the following features. Morning and Evening shoots each day Wed- Sat. Accommodations at the Maob Valley Inn for 5 nights , 6 days accommodations. Either king or queen double accomodation rooms. See their link to view rooms and accommodations. Moab Valley Inn.

You will find others that have copied our workshop here, but we offer the most experience in Arches and Canyonlands. We have been shooting here for many years and know the best locations and times to shoot.

Lectures and critiques each day. Lunch provided on Thursday and a farewell dinner provided on Saturday night. Just a few of the great photo locations that will be included in the tour are, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point and a moolight shoot just to name a few.

Travel accommodations are not included. However we suggest that if you are flying in to arrive at Grand Junction, Colorado which is only 85 miles from Moab. As an alternative you can arrive in Salt Lake city which is a 4 hour drive to Moab.

Many of our photographers are return students that not only enjoy the great locations but learn from Bob each time they attend. His method of teaching is hands on, in the field with classroom lectures on light, composition, filters, the color zone system, Photoshop CS4, Lightroom, and Photomatrix HDR software. The total cost is $1350 per person. A $650 deposit will hold your seat. The balance is due 60 days prior ot the workshop. See our cancellation policy for details.
