| We are now in our 17th year of conducting skill based workshops throughout the country. I have been photographing these many locations for 30 years and have extensive knowledge of all the areas that I offer. As well as the great locations, I conduct lectures series and critiques at all my workshops. The lectures include composition, lighting, filters, Photoshop CS5, Lightroom, and HDR software. Our workshops are paced to provide lots of shooting as well as hands on training as I shoot with all students during all of the field sessions.
To give everyone the maximum value we only allow 10 students in each of our classes. We do not use assistants that may not follow our teaching methods.
The images you see in the gallery are typical of what you can obtain by attending our workshops. I also have as many as 8 of 10 repeat students in our classes giving testimony as to the valve and quality of our events.
So please look at the listings at right and call us with any questions you might have.
I hope to see you at one of our events in 2012
Bob Evans
One or our students says:
"I have attended several Scenic Light
workshops and plan on attending many more! From the California Coast to the Eastern
Sierra, Yosemite National Park, and the colorful red rock country of Utah, Bob
Evans takes you to the locations where you can get fantastic landscape and macro
images. Add to this his insightful critiques, and you will come home as a better
photographer with some great photographs. I highly recommend Scenic Light Photography
workshops!"
Greg Zitney, California
" Bob Evans' workshops are simply top notch! Whether you are an amateur
or a professional, this is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your eye and hone
your skills. The fact that the groups are small enables a great deal of information
sharing and a lot of personal attention from Bob during the shoots, and Bob's
critique sessions are detailed and insightful. Highly recommended!
