We are offering this enhanced workshop again due to the many requests we have received. It is designed to teach more than just basics of Photoshop CS 5, Lightroom 3 and HRD software. You will learn advanced techniques in all 3 applications, that will advance you to the next level of digital photography. It is scheduled from 9 - 5 pm on Friday and Saturday and ends Sunday at 1 pm. The class will be held at The Hyatt Place in Roseville, Ca 220 Conference Center Dr 95678, For out of town participants the hotel is offering discount room rates of only $79 per night.

Assisted by Mark Herbert with an in depth background in ICC and color management, teach with hands on instructions. Students will bring their own images to edit while viewing the same processes by Bob and Mark. Each student is required to bring a laptop equipped with Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3. If you have not yet upgraded, then earlier versions are acceptable, except you will not be able to use the newest features during the class. Lightroom is optional as I know some use Photoshop exclusively. Photomatix can be down loaded from HDR Soft as a free trial. As an added bonus you will receive a 16x24 " ultra- chrome print of your edited image from the workshop, a $50 value. Beginning on Friday we cover the details of Lightroom3 as it interfaces to Photoshop or as a stand alone application. Also covered are ICC profiles, color management, monitor profiling and soft proofing to ensure accurate color match. The workshop includes in depth lectures of selections, mask, dodge and burn, curves, saturation and vibrance, as well as content aware fill.

Photomatix pro is an HDR (high dynamic range) application that will be discussed in depth. It's uses include multiple exposure processing and tone mapping, as well as fusion mapping. it uses, not only multiple captures, but single and double exposure as well.
