Photoshop and Fine Art Printing

June 20-22, 2008

For over 14 years we have conducted skill based workshops and have been very pleased with the response from our participants. Many of them have requested an in depth workshop on the skills and techniques of profiling images in Adobe Photoshop and the fine art printing process.

We are now very pleased to offer this, our newest workshop based on those requests.

This workshop is designed for those photographers , both film and digital, that are more serious about proper editing and printing their images. It begins on a Friday and concludes on Sunday afternoon. It is limited to no more than 15 students.

The class will focus on in-depth training and demonstrations of Photoshop CS3 as well as a detailed overview of Adobe Lightroom. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of the key functions and controls of photoshop. Professional photographer Bob Evans is joined by Portrait phorographer and color specialist Mark Herbert. The 2 speakers are able to cover all aspects of digital fine art printing for both landscape and portrait photography. The workshop includes 3 days of instruction, lunch on Saturday, a field shoot to the Gold Country of California, and a complimentary 16x20" print of their work on the new Epson 7880 Ultrachrome printer. With the new vivid magenta inks this printer now produces outstanding fine art prints in true 16 bit and with excellent gamut and dmax.

Each person is required to supply their own laptop computer with either CS2 or CS3 loaded. In addition please bring up to 5 digital images that will be used by each student to profile and edit. One of which will be the complimentary image to be printed.

The all inclusive cost of the workshop is $495 with a deposit for $250 to hold the reservation.

Please click below and we will send you a detailed itinerary for the entire weekend.

We are sure this will fill quickly and be an outstanding workshop for anyone who is serious about fine art photography and making their images the best they can be!
