About Us

Bob Evans has lived in Northern California since 1960. He has spent many years photographing the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the high Sierra Crest. He also spends a lot of time on the California coast. We hope you enjoy our images and will return often to see his latest work.

Photographer's Statement,
"I would like to thank the support and help of our local camera shop here in Roseville Calif., Action Camera. I greatly appreciate their helpful hints and sound advice. I would advise that no matter how small your interest in an art, seek out knowledgeable people who are willing to share their talents. I know from attending several workshop with Galen Rowell for several years that he was most willing to share his vision of the natural world and helped to teach the art of creative images and not just snapping the shutter. His untimely death in August 0f 2002 was a tragic loss of inspiration.

I have always had an intense interest in the arts; Music, and Photography. The outdoors has also been my most comfortable environment. So I have been putting the 2 together to produce what I hope are pleasing images."
